Nursery School Programmes

Foundation to education starts at this level with perfect age appropriate curriculum and using innovative methods of teaching. Nursery education is mainly by Montessori Method of teaching. In addition to Montessori, other integrated learning approach is also followed. Nursery education is in 3 stages.
i.e.  Montessori – 1 (Pre –nursery) – for children of age group between 3 to 4 years
       Montessori – 2 (LKG) - for children of age group between 4 to 5 years.
       Montessori – 3 (UKG) – for children of age group between 4 ½ to 5 ½ years

Curriculum

It is known fact that Montessori Method of teaching is adopted world wide as it is the best method of teaching the children at their early years. Under this system students allowed to learn while working with materials & models. Fundamentally it is a model of “Human development” which gives importance to development of emotional, intellectual, physical & social skills in a child. Our nursery curriculum mainly focuses as follows:

•    Providing opportunities for investigation, exploration & discovery

Integrated Approach of learning
    We follow mainly Montessori Method of teaching for Montessori -1 children. For Montessori -2 & 3 children Montessori Method and also other integrated learning approach is followed.
Languages:
Compulsory English language is used as means of communication. As a language policy M-1 & M-2 students are taught only English subject both oral & writing. Only at M-3 level basics of second language concept is introduced.

Assessment & Evaluation of Nursery children

Student are assessed though oral and written tests. Periodic tests are conducted every month on various learning aspects like speaking skill, listening skills, writing skill, mathematical skill and language development skill etc., Assessment also done on co-curricular activities. Consolidated grade will be awarded at the end of academic year.
